Centro de Artes Exhibitions

Upcoming Exhibitions

On Display: March 27 - August 17, 2025

Literary storytelling is brought to life through two concurrent exhibitions at Centro de Artes.

First Floor: Borders, Bleeds, Margins and Gutters

This exhibition celebrates the work of eight contemporary comics artists whose comics wrestle with the concept of boundaries as delineators of space and identity, including work that addresses contemporary Latinx identity and border politics.

Guest Curators: Gabe Garcia and Micah Bornstein

Second Floor: A Thousand Words: The Power of Pictures in Books

This exhibition showcases picture book illustrations by 17 of the most beloved Latinx artists in the publishing world today.

Guest Curators: Xelena González and Kim Garza Chbeir

Together, these exhibitions allow visitors to step inside the pages of their favorite comics and books.
