Airport Adds Additional Nonstop Service to Querétaro with Volaris

Starting in June, Volaris will begin nonstop service from San Antonio International Airport (SAT) to Querétaro International Airport (QRO) three days a week.


SAN ANTONIO (February 3, 2026)  Starting in June, Volaris will begin nonstop service from San Antonio International Airport (SAT) to Querétaro International Airport (QRO) three days a week.

The ultra-low-cost carrier will launch nonstop service from San Antonio to Querétaro starting Tuesday, June 2, with year-round flights every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 10:20 a.m. Its fleet, comprising Airbus A320 family aircraft, is among the youngest and most efficient in the Americas.

“We’re excited to see expanded service to Mexico, a destination that continues to be one of the most important and in-demand markets for San Antonio travelers,” said Jesus Saenz, Director of Airports, City of San Antonio Aviation Department. “This expanded service offers greater convenience and reflects the strong demand we continue to see from our community.”

“Our commitment to Texas, one of our most important markets, continues to grow with the launch of new routes designed to better serve our visiting friends and relatives customers,” said Holger Blankenstein, Executive Vice President at Volaris. “In addition to our new flights from Puebla to Houston and from Querétaro to Houston and Dallas–Fort Worth, this new service to San Antonio further strengthens our network in the Lone Star State and reflects our long-term vision of connecting communities across borders through low-cost and reliable air travel.”

Along with Volaris’ expanded service, Viva also offers nonstop flights to Querétaro, bringing total nonstop service to the capital city to six days a week.
