SAN ANTONIO (October 5, 2023) – The City of San Antonio celebrates Customer Service Week, an international celebration in October dedicated to recognizing the contributions of customer service professionals.

The City’s 311 Call Center is open daily from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. and is the first point of contact for residents seeking information, assistance, and access to essential city services. With a team of 47 customer service representatives, 311 handles a large volume of inquiries, receiving on average more than 2,400 calls every Monday and over 800,000 calls annually. As a part of the Approved FY 2024 City Budget, 311 will receive three new full-time positions to further enhance the customer experience.

“Customer Service Week is a time to celebrate our team members who work daily with our residents of San Antonio to provide city services and information,” said 311 Director Paula Stallcup. “I’m so proud of our team members who work hard to ensure they stay up to date with city services and information to quickly and efficiently answer calls.”

Residents can report potholes, roaming animals, vacant structures, solid waste collections and other property maintenance concerns by calling 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000 or by using the 311 SA mobile app.
