City’s Preseason Outdoor Pools Open May 24

SAN ANTONIO (May 19, 2025) — The City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department announces the opening of six preseason outdoor pools on Saturday, May 24, 2025. These locations will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 1 to 7 p.m. 

Woodlawn Lake Pool will be open for lap swim and aqua fitness classes on Tuesdays – Fridays from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. 

All preseason pools will also be open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26, 2025, from 1 to 7 p.m. 

Preseason outdoor pool locations are:              

• Dellview - 500 Basswood Dr.
• Fairchild – 1214 E. Crockett St.
• Kingsborough – 350 Felps St.
• Lady Bird Johnson - 10700 Nacogdoches Rd.
• Westwood Village – 7627 W. Military Dr. 
• Woodlawn Lake - 221 Alexander Ave.

The pools are free to the public. Appropriate swimwear is required. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. City splash pads are open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily and are free to the public. For more information visit SanAntonio.gov/Parks.
