John Stevens was appointed Assistant Director of Downtown Operations (formerly Center City Development & Operations) in November 2022. As Assistant Director, he oversees the following:
John has been with the City since 2011. Prior to this role, John served as the Assistant to the Director for Center City Development & Operations while also managing the renovations of City Hall and the City’s consolidated office building, City Tower. John began his tenure with the City as a Management Fellow and later spent time within the City Manager’s Office and Office of Historic Preservation.
John has a Master of Public Administration and a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University.
