Downtown Thursday Debuts this Summer

Get ready for a brand‑new way to enjoy downtown nights! The City is launching Downtown Thursday, a weekly lineup of arts, culture, music, food, and family‑friendly experiences every Thursday night from June 4 through August 27, 2026.
Each week, visitors can enjoy live entertainment, food and drink specials, outdoor programming, cultural experiences, and partner‑hosted events across downtown. Seasonal activities at Travis Park and Legacy Park will also be included.
The City is sponsoring a downtown circulator operated by The Local SATX during Downtown Thursdays to provide free, reliable transportation to events.

Free Parking on Thursday Nights
As part of the program, visitors can enjoy free parking at City‑owned facilities on Thursday nights from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. (some exceptions may apply). Free Parking Tuesdays will pause June through August as the program temporarily transitions to Thursdays.
