San Antonio International Airport Ready for Busy Labor Day Weekend

SAN ANTONIO (August 31, 2023) — After hitting a huge milestone in July with more than 1 million passengers traveling through San Antonio International Airport (SAT), the airport is ready for another record-breaking holiday weekend as Labor Day approaches. The Transportation Safety Administration (TSA) predicts between today and Monday, more than 150,000 travelers are expected to fly in and out of SAT. The single busiest day of holiday travel will be Saturday.
According to TSA, these are the projected numbers:
- Thursday, August 31: 28,296
- Friday, September 1: 33, 562
- Saturday, September 2: 37,310
- Sunday, September 3: 26,728
- Monday, September 4: 25,904
