Drone Safety Day

San Antonio (May 5, 2023) – SAPD’s Drone Team will be hosting a Drone Safety Day on May 6, at the SAPD Training Academy, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.! This free event is open to the public, family friendly, and will educate the public on drone safety!

Participants are encouraged to bring their own drones, as they will get hands on training with the SAPD Drone Team! All drone experience levels welcome! The SAPD Drone Team will run courses that range from Beginner level to Intermediate Level. Check in time for participants will be at 8 -  9 a.m.

Media interview opportunity will be from 8:30 – 9 a.m.

The SAPD Recruiting Detail will be onsite, as well as food, drinks, and fun activities for the whole family!
