Public's Assistance Needed in Identifying Persons of Interests

San Antonio (April 11, 2023) –  The San Antonio Police Department’s Homicide Unit is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying numerous persons of interest in the Capital Murder investigation of Justin Cliffe, age 26.

On Sunday, March 5, 2023, after 2 a.m., the victim was outside a bar located on the 100 block of Alamo Plaza, when he got into a confrontation with a group of unknown males and two unknown females. During the confrontation, one of the unknown males struck the victim, causing him to fall on the concrete. The victim was unconscious for an undetermined amount of time. The unknown males and females rendered no aid to the victim and stole his personal property while he was unconscious.

The victim was eventually able to regain consciousness and was taken to a friend’s home. While at his friend’s home, the victim lost consciousness again and was taken to a hospital, where he passed away. SAPD’s Homicide Unit is urging anyone who may recognize the unknown males and females shown in the images to please call detectives at 210-207-7635, reference: SAPD23049083.
