City Council Runoff Election for Districts 1 and 7 Slated for June 10

Early Voting for the June 10, 2023 Runoff Election from May 30 until June 6


SAN ANTONIO (May 17, 2023) – Today, San Antonio City Council canvassed the official results of the May 6, 2023 General Election and approved a Runoff Election for Council Districts 1 and 7. A Runoff Election is required when no candidate receives a majority of votes for the office. The Runoff Election will take place on Saturday, June 10, 2023, with early voting from Tuesday, May 30 to Tuesday, June 6, 2023. Registered voters in City Council Districts 1 and 7 will have the opportunity to cast new ballots for their City Council District members.

Early voting hours will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, May 30 to Friday, June 2, 2023 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, Monday and Tuesday, June 3, 5 and 6 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • No early voting on Sunday, June 4, 2023

Voting locations will be as follows:

  • Bexar County Elections Department - 1103 S. Frio (Directions)
  • Bexar County Justice Center, Basement - 300 Dolorosa (Closes daily at 6 p.m. and will not open on Saturday) (Directions)
  • Lion’s Field - 2809 Broadway (Directions)
  • Maverick Branch Library - 8700 Mystic Park (Directions)
  • Memorial Branch Library - 3222 Culebra (Directions)
  • Wonderland Mall of the Americas at Crossroads, Lower Level A-12 - 4522 Fredericksburg (Directions)

Voting hours for Runoff Election Day, Saturday, June 10, 2023, will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The voting sites for the Runoff Election Day will be the same as the early voting sites.
