Parks and Recreation and Public Works Departments to host Phase II Public Meeting regarding the Brackenridge Park 2017 Bond Project


SAN ANTONIO, TX (August 9, 2022) – The City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation and Public Works Departments are hosting a public meeting at the Witte Museum (3801 Broadway) regarding Phase II of the Brackenridge Park 2017 Bond Project on Tuesday, August 9.  Phase II will cover historical resources in the park including the Upper Labor Diversion Dam, Pump House, and more. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. and will be live-streamed via SASpeakUp.com and the Park’s YouTube channel. Signups for in-person public comment at the Witte Museum start at 5 p.m. An additional public meeting is scheduled at the Witte Museum for August 31 at 6 p.m.

Free parking is available in the Brackenridge Park Parking Garage located on Avenue B. American Sign Language and Spanish interpreters will be available to assist meeting attendees. Accessible parking and drop-offs are available on Gunn Drive North Lot located off of Broadway.
