Municipal Court Offers Extended Hours and Virtual Court to Address Citations


SAN ANTONIO (February 22, 2024) – From February 26 to March 22, 2024, the San Antonio Municipal Court will offer a number of ways to assist individuals avoid costly legal trouble related to outstanding parking, civil or Class C misdemeanor citations. During this Warrant Resolution Campaign, the Court will provide virtual court sessions, extended operating hours, and complimentary parking to improve accessibility for all visitors.

Individuals are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to resolve outstanding City of San Antonio citations and reduce the risk of arrest. Citation status can be verified by utilizing the Traffic/Criminal Case Search tool available on the Court's website.

Some citations may be resolved quickly through the Court's Online Payment System.

Extended Hours

To accommodate individuals unable to visit during normal business hours, the Court will operate during extended hours on the following dates and times, with no appointments necessary:

  • Friday, March 1 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Saturday, March 16 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Normal business hours remain Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Free on-site parking will be available for attendees during the campaign period.

Virtual Court Sessions

For individuals unable to visit in-person, the Court will conduct online dockets via a digital platform called Zoom from February 26 through March 22, Monday through Friday from 2 – 4 p.m. (Last admitted at 3:30 p.m.) Information on accessing the virtual sessions is provided on the Court’s website.
