Lane closures planned for Cesar E. Chavez Blvd.

SAN ANTONIO (September 25, 2023)  Beginning Monday, October 2, Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. will have two partial intersection closures at Santa Rosa Avenue and South Alamo Street for road reconstruction. See attached detour maps.

Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. will be closed to westbound and eastbound traffic at Santa Rosa Avenue through the end of November 2023. Santa Rosa Avenue will remain open to northbound and southbound traffic. For more info, visit SASpeakUp.com/ZonaCultural.

South Alamo Street will be closed to northbound and southbound traffic at Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. through mid-November 2023. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd. will remain open to westbound and eastbound traffic. This construction will occur in two phases with the southside of the intersection closing first and then the northside. For more info, visit SASpeakUp.com/SouthAlamo

Signage will alert drivers of the detour routes. Pedestrians will have access along existing sidewalks. All businesses remain accessible.
