SAN ANTONIO (June 7, 2023) – Runoff Election Day for City of San Antonio Council Districts 1 and 7 is this Saturday, June 10, 2023. Voting sites will be open from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. This is the final day for registered residents of Districts 1 and 7 to vote for their City Council members. Voters do not need to have voted in the General Election to participate in the runoff election.

On May 6,2023, the City held a General Election for Mayor and City Council appointments. District 1 and District 7 candidates proceeded to a runoff election. On May 17, 2023, the City Council approved the canvassing results from the May 6, 2023 General Election. City Council also called a Runoff Election for Council Districts 1 and 7. Early voting for the Runoff Election was held from May 30 until June 6, 2023.
