VIA Metropolitan Transit Board of Trustees is Seeking Applicants

The City of San Antonio is seeking applicants for the VIA Metropolitan Transit Board of Trustees. The deadline to apply is May 1, 2025.

Applicants must reside in VIA’s service area to qualify.

Role of the Board

The VIA Metropolitan Transit Board of Trustees governs VIA Metropolitan Transit, the public transportation agency that owns, manages, and operates the local transit system. The Board sets policies, oversees operations, and ensures VIA provides multimodal transit options that connect the community, support the economy, and improve quality of life.

The Board usually meets at 5 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of the month at the VIA Metro Center Board Room, 1021 San Pedro.
