SAN ANTONIO (March 16, 2026) – Feeling lucky? San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS) is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a one-day adoption special designed to help more pets find their pot of gold in a loving home.
On Tuesday, March 17, adoption fees for all available dogs and cats will be just $25 at the city’s municipal shelter located at 4710 State Highway 151. Adoptions are available daily from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
The special St. Patrick’s Day adoption price includes a bundle of services that help pets and families by including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and microchipping with a lifetime registration. SAACS encourages potential adopters to visit the shelter in person to meet the many dogs and cats currently waiting for homes.
