Spurs Round 2 Playoff Win Means $0 Adoptions at Animal Care Services

SAN ANTONIO (May 7, 2026) – Second verse, same as the first! The Spurs have pulled out a win against the Timberwolves in Round 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals. That means today is a $0 adoptions day at San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS). Each day following a Spurs win throughout the playoffs, adoption fees will drop to $0 for all dogs, cats, puppies and kittens at SAACS.

Spurs fans are encouraged to take a shelter pet from the kennel to the couch to cheer on our home team. All SAACS adoptions include the pet’s sterilization, registered microchip, initial vaccinations, and lifetime access to shelter trainers. When available, additional promotional giveaways may take place.
