Spend Black “Furday” At Animal Care Services

Forget the stores with this $0 doggie doorbuster adoption special.

SAN ANTONIO (November 25, 2025) — ThisBlack Friday, San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS) has a (doggie) doorbuster you don’t want to miss, because adoption is always the best deal. ACS will be hosting a $0 Black Furday adoption special on Friday, November 28, from 1-4 p.m. The promotion applies to all pets at the municipal shelter, 4710 State Highway 151, 78227.

Complimentary matchmaking will be available throughout the event, and prospective pet parents can use more than a dozen get-acquainted yards to spend time with any “pawsibilities” before deciding. SAACS pets are sterilized, vaccinated, licensed, microchipped, and de-wormed before going to their new home. All event adopters will also receive a goodie bag with supplies for their new pet. 

SAACS will be closed on Thursday, November 27 for Thanksgiving, but will reopen from 1-7 p.m. on Friday, November 28 for the event. Browse pets anytime at the SAACS pet search website.
