SAPD Officer Arrested

SAN ANTONIO (September 23, 2023) – An off-duty San Antonio Police Officer, Eric Duffin, was arrested on the 1700 Block of Evans Rd for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. Officers responded to the location for a minor single vehicle crash. While conducting their investigation, officers observed indications of intoxication. Officer Duffin is assigned to North Patrol and has been employed by the San Antonio Police Department for 16 years. He will be immediately temporarily suspended without pay. The San Antonio Police Department is conducting both criminal and administrative investigations into this incident.
