Aggravated Robbery Update

San Antonio - (March 23, 2023) – SAPD Detectives were able to identify and develop enough probable cause to issue warrants on three juvenile males (15-16 years of age) on an Aggravated Robbery of an 80-year-old male that occurred on February 11, 2023. On Wednesday, March 22, 2023 US Marshals apprehended the third and final suspect involved in an Aggravated Robbery of an 80-year-old male. All three suspects are juveniles, so we cannot release their names of likeness. Great work by SAPD Robbery detectives and thank you to the US Marshal’s office for their assistance in apprehending these suspects.

Synopsis: Officers responded to a call of a possible Motor vehicle and pedestrian that came out on Walker Ranch/Stonewood Dr. When officers made the location, the victim was found on the ground in the roadway. The victim suffered multiple injuries throughout his body. The victim originally told officers he was involved in a minor accident, but officers were unable to locate his vehicle. The victim was transported to the hospital for non-life threating injuries. During the investigation, detectives learned that during the incident the unknown suspects stole the victim’s vehicle and caused injuries to the victim as a result. The victim was unable to tell police what occurred due to his injuries. It’s still an ongoing investigation.
