The City Manager will present the proposed budget to the Council on August 14, 2025.

SAN ANTONIO (August 4, 2025) – The City of San Antonio is inviting residents to participate in a series of Budget Town Hall meetings during the month of August. City Manager Erik Walsh and staff from key departments will share highlights from the Fiscal Year (FY) 2026 proposed budget and answer questions from residents.

“The City’s budget is arguably one of the most important responsibilities of local government,” City Manager Erik Walsh said. “These Budget Town Halls give residents a chance to review the budget proposals and give feedback. We encourage all residents to take part in the conversation.”

During the City Council A Session on August 14, 2025, City Manager Walsh will present the FY 2026 Proposed Budget. Following that session, town hall meetings will allow the opportunity to gather feedback from residents about the proposed budget for the City’s fiscal year 2026, which begins on October 1, 2025. City Council will vote on the budget during the A Session on September 18, 2025.

Residents can view a full list of Town Hall meetings, including a Youth Town Hall, spread throughout the city. Register to attend at SASpeakUp.com/SABudget2026.
