SAN ANTONIO (August 14, 2025) – Today, the San Antonio Police Department was notified that SAPD Officer David McCall turned himself in to the Bexar County Booking and Release Satellite Office following the issuance of an arrest warrant for Driving While Intoxicated. On August 5th, BCSO responded to a vehicle crash that occurred in the 3400 block of Coryell Cove involving Officer David McCall while he was off-duty.
The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an administrative investigation into this incident. Please contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office for any questions regarding the criminal investigation.
Officer McCall has been with the Department for 18 years and has been placed on administrative duty.
