Officer Arrested for Assault Bodily Injury-Family

SAN ANTONIO (December 26, 2024) – On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, SAPD was notified by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office that SAPD Officer Holvin Perez Ortiz was arrested for Assault Bodily Injury-Family while off-duty.

Perez Ortiz is assigned to SAPD’s Bike Patrol Unit and has been on the department for 5 years. He has been placed on Administrative Duty. The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an administrative investigation into this incident.
