Multimodal Transportation Commission is Seeking Applicants

The City is seeking applicants for its Multimodal Transportation Commission. The deadline to apply is September 12, 2025.

Transit riders, cyclists, traffic engineers, disadvantaged transit riders, and those with experience with affordable housing, children, the development community, the environment, health and quality of life, and non-motorist and urban planning are encouraged to apply.

Role of the Commission

The Multimodal Transportation Commission advises the City’s Transportation Director on exceptions to the Complete Streets Policy. It also serves as a recommending body for updates to policies, procedures, plan metrics, benchmarks, and amendments to the City Code. City staff regularly updates the Commission on Transportation Department plans, policies, and projects.

The Commission meets in regularly scheduled meetings held quarterly on Tuesdays at City Tower.
