Mayor and City Council Runoff Election Slated for June 7

Early voting runs from May 27 to June 3, 2025.


SAN ANTONIO (May 14, 2025) – Today, San Antonio City Council canvassed the official results of the May 3, 2025, General Election and approved a Runoff Election for Mayor and City Council Districts 1, 6, 8, and 9. A Runoff Election is required when no candidate receives a majority of votes for the office. The Runoff Election will take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, with early voting from Tuesday, May 27, 2025, to Tuesday, June 3, 2025. All San Antonio registered voters can cast new ballots for Mayor. Registered voters in Districts 1, 6, 8, and 9 will have the opportunity to cast new ballots for their City Council District members.

Early voting hours will be as follows:

  • Tuesday, May 27, 2025, to Friday, May 30, 2025, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Monday, June 2, 2025, to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Runoff Election Day voting hours:

  • Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
