Mayor Joins Spurs, City Council and County Leaders on Props A and B

SAN ANTONIO (November 5, 2025) – Today, the Mayor joined with her fellow City Councilmembers, the Spurs, the County and community leaders to show unity for San Antonio on the steps of City Hall and released the following statement:

“Our City leaders have a responsibility to think big and ensure that this generational investment strengthens San Antonio for the long term, including communities that have been left behind. We have the opportunity to do better, and are committed to fighting for their interests as we all work together in good faith.

“Great cities are built through collaboration, persistence, and a focus on community. I’m proud to work with these partners and members of our community to advance a bold vision that benefits all San Antonio residents and drives our economy forward. The details of the plan forward should increase our affordable housing stock, create good-paying jobs, and drive economic activity.

“The people of San Antonio have spoken. Now comes the hard part–it is time to get to work so that we can develop a detailed, thoughtful, comprehensive strategy for revitalizing our downtown.”
