SAN ANTONIO (October 19, 2026) – Today, Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones announced she has selected Jim Perschbach, Jelynne LeBlanc Jamison, and Mario Obledo, Jr., to serve as Tri-Chairs of the 2027 Bond Program.

“Our City’s infrastructure investments should be driven by community need and economic development, while also considering the historic inequities that shape disparities in everything from educational attainment to life expectancy,” said Mayor Jones. “I am confident Jim, Jelynne, and Mario are the right folks to lead this forward, and appreciate their willingness to serve our community in this way.”

“Bond dollars pay for the things residents use every day: the streets they drive to work, the drainage that protects their homes in a storm, the parks where their kids play,” said Jim Perschbach, President and CEO of Port San Antonio. “I’m grateful for the chance to help guide this process alongside my fellow Tri-Chairs, and I look forward to hearing from residents in every part of the city.”

“I’m honored to serve as a Tri-Chair for the 2027 Bond Project,” said Jelynne LeBlanc Jamison, President and CEO of The Center for Health Care Services. “I look forward to using my previous experience at the City of San Antonio to develop a fair, balanced approach to address our city’s most pressing infrastructure issues. We will work with the community to identify our top priorities, practice responsible stewardship, and minimize the impacts on our residents."

“I am honored to be selected by the Mayor as one of the Tri-Chairs for the 2027 Bond,” said Mario Obledo, Jr., Chief of Government and Public Affairs of the San Antonio Food Bank. “This community improvement Bond before us is a great opportunity to address current and future challenges that we all face together as San Antonians. As we continue to grow and meet the needs of our residents, I will also be mindful of the economic development factor that can help enhance, propel, and position San Antonio for a combined and successful future. The health, safety, and future wellbeing of our citizenry depend on our collective work.”
