Get Early Access to City’s Largest Pet Adoption Fiesta

SAN ANTONIO (April 2, 2025) – VIP tickets are now available for early access to the San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS) Paw-changa Adoption Fiesta, San Antonio’s biggest pet party. Slated for Saturday, April 12, the Fiesta-themed event features hundreds of adoption-ready pets from SAACS and other pet adoption partners, along with live music and entertainment, family-friendly activities, vendors, food trucks, and more.

For $25, VIP ticket holders will receive: 

• “Pick of the Litter” early entry to the adoption areas (complete with a mariachi serenade!)
• Free parking and trolley transportation to the venue 
• An official SAACS 2025 Fiesta medal and Paw-changa event t-shirt
• A free week of doggie daycare from Paw-changa partner, Dogtopia 
• A special VIPs only Zumba experience
• Early access to vendors, food trucks, family fun and more

With a goal to find placement for 200 pets at the event, dogs and cats adopted from SAACS are sterilized, microchipped with lifetime registration, and vaccinated with their first round of shots. Families who adopt from SAACS can also take advantage of training sessions with the shelter’s certified canine trainer. The Paw-changa Adoption Fiesta runs from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. at SAACS, 4710 State Highway 151.
