Fiscal Year 2026 Artist Grantees Announced

SAN ANTONIO (September 24, 2025) — The City of San Antonio’s Department of Arts & Culture today unveiled 54 San Antonio-based artists selected to receive grants of $7,500 or $15,000 as part of its fiscal year 2026 Artist Grants program. 

“San Antonio’s artists are the heartbeat of our cultural identity,” said Department of Arts & Culture Director Krystal Jones. “Investing in artists through grant funding is not only a commitment to our creative industry, but also a catalyst for innovation, economic growth and community connection. These investments empower artists to launch new projects that often result in additional paid opportunities, while also creating meaningful and engaging experiences for audiences.” 

Artist Grants fund the creation of new, original work for public debut over the next 18 months. Grantees represent a range of artistic disciplines across the literary, media, multi-disciplinary, performing, and visual arts. The 54 artists are:
