SAN ANTONIO (April 1, 2025) — The City of San Antonio invites the community to visit downtown — including Historic Market Square, La Villita Historic Arts Village, Travis Park and Houston Street — this April for a wide variety of events. San Antonio will host the 2025 NCAA® Men's Final Four® and Fiesta San Antonio, making it a very busy month. Event attendees are advised to make plans in advance and use public transportation, rideshare, or taxi services.

While you enjoy La Villita and Market Square events, don’t forget to stop inside their stores to shop for one-of-a-kind treasures.

2025 NCAA® Men's Final Four®: April 4-7

San Antonio will host the 2025 NCAA Men's Final Four weekend and a slate of engaging community events, scheduled for April 4-7 downtown and at the Alamodome.

Craft Tuesday: Medal Fest

Tuesday, April 8, 4-8 p.m.; free

You’re invited to La Villita’s free, family-friendly Fiesta themed Craft Tuesday. Grab pics with Fiesta VIPs and mascots and be ready to purchase Fiesta medals and other Fiesta-themed merch. Be sure to enter drawing for an exciting chance to win NIOSA tickets and door prizes. Come early to grab dinner in the Village, or you can purchase light bites and beverages from Prost Haus. Starving Artist Art Show

Saturday, April 12 & Sunday, April 13, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., FREE

Hosted by the Starving Artist Gallery of La Villita, more than 100 artists and craftspeople will showcase their merchandise. Proceeds from the annual art show will benefit the Little Church of La Villita. For more information, visit the La Villita website.


Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA)®

Tuesday, April 29 – Friday, May 2, 5:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m., ticketed event

Each year, the historic downtown village of La Villita takes center stage as 85,000 visitors gather for four nights to celebrate the city's unique heritage at "A Night in Old San Antonio." Hundreds of elaborately decorated food and drink booths and more than a dozen nonstop entertainment stages represent the diverse cultures and customs of San Antonio in 14 heritage-themed areas. Fiesta de los Reyes

The Rey Feo Consejo Educational Foundation and the City of San Antonio have partnered to produce Fiesta de los Reyes at Market Square, a culturally rich celebration featuring daily and nightly live performances, a wide variety of delicious cuisine and exciting family-friendly events. Fifth Annual Guayabera Festival

Centro San Antonio and Divide & Conquer Denim & Leather cordially invites the community to experience the Fifth Annual Guayabera Festival – a free celebration of culture, style, and community in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Attendees are encouraged to wear their own guayabera for the party or purchase one at the event. The event features live music food, drinks, shopping and more. Fiesta® Fiesta

Thursday, April 24, 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.; free

Kickoff this year’s Fiesta celebration with Fiesta® Fiesta at Travis Park! The event features live music, pin pandemonium, and more! Downtown Events

Lunch Break on Houston Street

Location: in front of the Majestic Theatre, 224 E. Houston Street

Plan Ahead

Downtown will be very busy during the 2025 NCAA® Men's Final Four® Tournament Weekend (April 4-7) and Fiesta (April 24 – May 4). Take public transportation, rideshare, taxis, bike, walk, or consult Google Maps or Waze before you leave. Visit the City’s Know Before You Go Downtown website for helpful resources and parking information. VIA Metropolitan Transit offers its Link ride-sharing service for $1.30 a ride within its downtown service area zone. VIA will also offer Park & Ride to Final Four and Fiesta events.

Visitor Parking

For easy, convenient, and affordable parking, visit the City’s SAPark website. The parking map provides a full list of City-owned garages and lots. Note that event parking rates (up to $15 at City parking facilities) will be in effect at parking facilities during Final Four and Fiesta.

The St. Mary’s Garage (205 E. Travis St.) and the City Tower Garage (60 N. Flores St.) are located just steps from the River Walk, Houston Street and Travis Park and they generally have many parking spots. Downtown Tuesday offers free parking on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. in City-owned parking facilities (note that the Downtown Tuesday program will be temporarily suspended on Tuesday, April 29 for Fiesta), and City Tower Sundays offers free parking on Sundays from 7 a.m. to midnight at the City Tower Garage (60 N. Flores St.).
