Downtown Office Announces Conference Finals Watch Parties

SAN ANTONIO (May 21, 2026) – The City of San Antonio’s Downtown Office invites fans to gather downtown to cheer on the San Antonio Spurs as they face the Oklahoma City Thunder in Games 3, 4 and 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals. All watch parties are free and open to the public.

San Antonio Spurs Game 3 Watch Party (La Zona, 333 West Commerce St.)
Friday, May 22, Playoff Pop-up opens at noon, Tip-off at 7:30 p.m.; Weather permitting; Free
Together with Centro San Antonio, the City of San Antonio’s Downtown Office invites families to the La Zona Playoff Pop-up this Friday, May 22. Food and drink vendors begin at 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs; coolers and ice chests are prohibited.
“We are thrilled to be able to activate a space in the heart of downtown that is rich with color and creativity,” said Trish DeBerry, President & CEO of Centro San Antonio. “La Zona is a prime example of turning what was once a vacant and blighted property into a cultural destination and gathering spot artists and families alike. A Spurs Merch shop and hub for Spurs Watch Parties is only the beginning."
San Antonio Spurs Game 4 Watch Party (Legacy Park, 103 W. Houston St.)
Sunday, May 24, Tip-off at 7 p.m.; Weather permitting; Free
The City of San Antonio’s Downtown Office is teaming up with Downtown West and Center City Development and Operations to host a Game 4 Watch Party on Sunday, May 24. Food and drink vendors begin at 6:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs; outside food and beverages are permitted; no glass or confetti. Event updates will be posted on Downtown West's Instagram.
San Antonio Spurs Game 5 Watch Party (The Espee, 1174 E. Commerce St.)
Tuesday, May 26, Tip-off at 7:30 p.m.; Rain or shine; Free
ATG Entertainment, VelocityTX and the Downtown Office will host an East Side Game 5 Watch Party on Tuesday, May 26. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs; coolers and ice chests are prohibited. The first fifty guests will receive an exclusive Spurs playoff giveaway. More information can be found on the event website.

Downtown can get busy, so make a plan. Take public transportation, rideshare, taxis, bike, walk, or consult Google Maps or Waze before you leave. Visit the City’s Know Before You Go Downtown website for helpful resources and parking information. Find nearby VIA Metropolitan Transit routes by visiting Google Maps and selecting the public transport option. Visitor Parking
For easy, convenient, and affordable parking, visit the City’s SAPark website.The parking map provides a full list of City-owned garages and lots. Note that event parking rates (up to $15 at City parking facilities) may be in effect at some parking facilities during busy event weekends.
The St. Mary’s Garage (205 E. Travis St.) and the City Tower Garage (60 N. Flores St.) are located just steps from the River Walk, Houston Street and Travis Park and generally, there are many parking spots. Downtown Tuesday offers free parking on Tuesdays from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. in City-owned parking facilities and City Tower Sundays offers free parking on Sundays from 7 a.m. to midnight at the City Tower Garage (60 North Flores St.).
