  • A Community Asset Visualization Map designed to guide future investments around schools.

“Continued investment in community programs is critical, especially as we continue to see funding reductions,” said the District 6 Councilmember. “As Chair of the Community Health and Educational Opportunities Committee, I believe it is our responsibility to protect the services that working families, seniors, and young people rely on every day. As we navigate budget reductions, my priority is ensuring our kids, parents, and grandparents remain at the center of every decision we make for the future of San Antonio. This memo encourages a collaborative budget process that prioritizes long-term community wellbeing, economic mobility, and equitable access to essential services across San Antonio.”
