District 3 Hosts Annual Back-to-School Health and Resource Fair

SAN ANTONIO (July 25, 2025) – District 3 invites the entire community to its Annual Back-to-School Health and Resource Fair. This free, family-friendly event is open to all residents and will take place on Saturday, July 26, from 8 a.m. to noon at Child Advocates San Antonio, 1956 S WW White Rd, 78222.

Hosted by District 3 leadership, State Representative Liz Campos, Brooks Gives Back, South Texas Blood & Tissue, San Antonio Food Bank and community partners, the fair aims to ensure students and families are prepared, healthy, and supported as they head into the new school year.

Event Highlights

  • Free backpacks and school supplies while they last
  • Free health screenings and immunizations
  • Community resource booths with information on youth programs, housing, mental health, and more
  • Fun activities for kids and families
  • The first 200 families receive produce bags

“Each year, this event grows bigger and better,” Councilmember Viagran said. “It’s all about coming together to support our students and families so they start the school year strong.”
