District 3 Councilmember Joins Texas Municipal League Board

SAN ANTONIO (April 30, 2026) – Today, Councilmember Viagran was designated as the City of San Antonio’s Director-at-Large to the Board of Directors of the Texas Municipal League (TML). 

As an at-Large board member, the District 3 Councilmember will collaborate with municipal leaders across Texas while helping guide TML’s priorities. The TML Board plays a vital role in shaping member support and advancing solutions that help Texas cities deliver safe, affordable, and effective services.

“I look forward to representing the needs of San Antonio, fostering collaboration among local governments and advancing advocacy efforts on issues that impact communities across the state,” said the District 3 Councilmember. “This position provides a platform to elevate local priorities and build partnerships that move them forward. I remain focused on practical, city-centered solutions that improve outcomes for residents while addressing the ongoing challenges facing our communities.”

TML is a statewide organization representing Texas cities and supporting municipal officials through resources, advocacy, and collaboration. Through its leadership and board governance, TML works to strengthen local government capacity and promote policies that help cities thrive.
