District 10 Councilmember Welcomes the Inaugural Texas Space Summit to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (November 18, 2025) – Councilmember Marc Whyte celebrated the announcement that San Antonio has been selected to host the inaugural Texas Space Summit in September 2026. “This is a landmark opportunity for our great city, and a testament to its expanding role in science and technology innovation,” said the Councilmember.

He also congratulated the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce for its successful efforts in bringing this summit to the Alamo City, positioning it as a growing leader in the space and aerospace sectors. “I want to congratulate the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce for their role in securing this incredible opportunity for our city. It highlights the strength of our business community, education partners, and military presence.”
