Council District 4 Budget Town Hall Rescheduled

New date and time for District 4 Town Hall is Saturday, Aug. 26 at 2 p.m.
SAN ANTONIO (August 18, 2023) – The City of San Antonio’s Council District 4 Budget Town Hall meeting previously scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 19 has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 26. The event will be held at the Miller’s Pond Community Center, located at 6175 Old Pearsall Rd., 78242.
There are several remaining opportunities for the public to engage with City leadership regarding the Fiscal Year 2024 Proposed Budget, on Tuesday, August 22 in District 5; Thursday, August 24 in District 2; and Saturday, August 26 in District 4. The community is also invited to two public hearings regarding the 2024 Ad Valorem Tax Rate and the FY 2024 Proposed Budget.
Throughout the month of August, the City has invited residents to participate in a series of town hall meetings spread throughout the city. During the panel style meetings, Council members and city staff have shared highlights from the FY 2024 Proposed Budget and answered questions from residents.
The town hall meetings are an opportunity to gather feedback from residents about the proposed budget for the City’s fiscal year 2024, which begins on October 1, 2023. City Council will vote on the budget on September 14, 2023.
