Community Invited to Free Downtown Thursday Block Party on June 25

SAN ANTONIO (June 23, 2026) — The City of San Antonio invites the community to attend a Downtown Thursday Block Party on June 25 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Legacy Park at 103 West Houston Street. The free event will feature live music by Fast Movin’ Train, activities, giveaways, and complimentary light bites and beverages. Free parking will be available in the City Tower Garage after 5 p.m. at 60 North Flores Street, and The Local SATX will provide transportation from other downtown locations to the event.

Downtown Thursday is a weekly pilot program that brings arts, culture, music, food, and family‑friendly activities to downtown San Antonio every Thursday evening through August 27, 2026. The program offers free parking in City‑owned garages after 5 p.m. and a complimentary circulator operated by The Local SATX to help visitors move between destinations. Participating partners also provide a variety of special offers and events.
