Clear Outstanding Warrants at Municipal Court and Avoid Arrest
Published on February 12, 2026
SAN ANTONIO (February 12, 2026) — Beginning February 16, 2026, the San Antonio Municipal Court is making it easier for people to take care of outstanding City of San Antonio traffic and Class C misdemeanor citations. As part of its annual Warrant Resolution campaign, the Court will expand access by increasing staff operations, including opening on two Saturdays, February 21 and 28, 2026. These extended hours provide additional opportunities for individuals to resolve traffic cases and avoid added fees.
“Our annual Warrant Resolution Campaign gives people the chance to work with our judges and staff to resolve their citations without the fear of arrest,” Municipal Court Presiding Judge Carla Obledo said. “Clearing warrants helps people avoid escalating fines, legal issues, and challenges with employment or housing. Last year, the campaign helped our community resolve approximately 14,000 warrants.”
Regular Court & Saturday Hours
Regular Court hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To better serve those who cannot visit during the week, the Court will also be open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following Saturdays to address traffic cases:
- Saturday, February 21
- Saturday, February 28
In-Person Appearances
Visiting the Court in person is one of the best ways to speak directly with a judge, review options, and work toward the best possible resolution. Individuals with Class C warrants will not be arrested. An appointment is not required. The San Antonio Municipal Court building is located at 401 S Frio St., and free on-site parking is available.
Online Resolution
Many cases, including traffic, civil, and parking citations, can be resolved quickly and conveniently from home using the Court's Online Payment System.
Individuals facing financial challenges or having difficulty resolving a ticket are strongly encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Citation and warrant status can be verified at any time by utilizing the Traffic/Criminal Case Search tool available on the Court’s website.
