City of San Antonio and Bexar County Encourage Residents To Report Flood Damage From Severe Storms

SAN ANTONIO (June 20, 2025) – The City of San Antonio and Bexar County Office of Emergency Management are asking the public to report any damages and losses to residential, commercial, and/or agricultural property due to the flood event on Wednesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 12.

Residents can submit a detailed self-assessment survey online via the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT) at https://damage.tdem.texas.gov. Surveys can be filled out in English and Spanish and are limited to one per impacted address.

Details provided through the iSTAT damage survey help emergency management officials gain an understanding of the extent of damage that has occurred.

The TDEM iSTAT survey is designed to:

  • Gather data on damage across affected areas.
  • Support efforts to determine the overall impact on communities.
  • Provide information that may assist in planning for debris removal, infrastructure repairs, and recovery efforts.
  • Ensure local and state emergency management agencies have a clearer picture of disaster effects.

Reporting damages to Emergency Management is a voluntary activity and is not a substitute for reporting damage to your insurance agency. This reporting does not guarantee disaster relief.
