City of San Antonio Extends Hours of Places to Stay Warm for Saturday

VIA offers fare-free rides to places to stay warm through Saturday

SAN ANTONIO (January 10, 2025) – The City of San Antonio will extend the hours of its places to stay warm on Saturday, January 11, as the cold weather begins to exit the area in the afternoon.

City Libraries and Parks Community Centers listed below will open early at 8 a.m. and remain open through their regular business hours. For a map and hours of places to stay warm, visit SA.gov/ColdWeather.

VIA passengers may travel fare-free to or from these locations on January 11. Passengers using VIA bus service or VIA Link (within the Link service zones) should alert the bus operator when boarding; VIAtrans passengers should alert the reservation agent when booking a VIAtrans trip.
