City Manager’s 5K Walk & Run Set for April 4 at SeaWorld

Registration is now open for the 16th annual event.

SAN ANTONIO (March 13, 2026) – The City of San Antonio invites residents and employees to join the 16th Annual City Manager’s 5K (CM5K) Walk & Run at 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, at SeaWorld San Antonio, 10500 SeaWorld Drive.

“We’re proud to once again host this family-friendly event for our employees and residents,” said City Manager Erik Walsh. “Promoting wellness is a key part of our organizational culture, and I’m excited to celebrate it with the entire community through this walk and run. I encourage everyone to join us on April 4.”

Registration is now open. The entry fee is $10 per person. Event t-shirts are available for an additional $10 and participants must register by March 24 to receive one. Awards will be presented to the top finishers across eight age groups—from 15 and under to 70 and over. Free parking will be provided in the SeaWorld lot. Participants can look forward to a scenic course through the SeaWorld grounds, music, vendor booths, appearances by City mascots, and exclusive discounted SeaWorld tickets valid from April 4 through April 11.

Event Day Schedule

• 6:30 a.m. - Packet pickup and onsite registration begins
• 7:30 a.m. - Opening ceremonies
• 8 a.m. - Race start
• 8:30 a.m. - Closing ceremonies
• 9:45 a.m. - Event ends, participants exit
• 10:30 a.m. - SeaWorld opens to the public
