Central Library Will Close Early on October 21 for Annual Catrina Ball
SAN ANTONIO (October 20, 2023) – San Antonio Public Library’s Central Library (600 Soledad, 78205) will close at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 21 in preparation for the San Antonio Public Library Foundation’s 7th Annual Catrina Ball.
The San Antonio Public Library Foundation’s Catrina Ball is an annual fundraiser that transforms portions of Central Library for one evening. Proceeds from the event benefit library programs and initiatives. For more information about the Library Foundation or the Catrina Ball, visit the Foundation’s website. This event is sold-out.
On Saturday, the Central Library outdoor book drop will remain open, and outdoor Wi-Fi will be available during normal hours. Central Library will return to regular scheduling on Monday, October 23 at noon. Central Library is closed on Sundays. All other San Antonio Public Library locations will operate under their regular service schedules and reference services will be available.
