SAN ANTONIO (May 1, 2026) – The community can make a big impact on tiny pets as San Antonio Animal Care Services hosts “Bottle Baby 101,” a class focused on caring for newborn puppies and kittens. With two free sessions slated for Sunday, May 3, starting at 10 a.m. and at noon, the class will cover the basics of neonatal care, including life-saving bottle feeding, warming, and handling techniques for pets too young to survive on their own.
With spring as the shelter’s busiest season, the hands-on workshop is designed to equip fosters and animal lovers with the skills to step in when it matters the most. Class attendees can sign up to foster pets in need and meet several litters that are searching for foster heroes.
The free classes are open to the entire community and will take place at SAACS, located at 4710 State Highway 151, 78227.
