Bazan Branch Library Temporarily Closes for Improvements

Interim Service is available at Atanacio Garcia Natatorium.

SAN ANTONIO (September 10, 2025) — Bazan Branch Library will temporarily close starting Monday, September 15, to replace the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Interim service will be available to library users starting Friday, September 19, at the Atanacio Garcia Natatorium (formerly San Antonio Natatorium, 1430 W. Cesar E. Chavez Road, 78207). 

Patrons will be able to pick up holds, return library materials, browse a curated collection of print books, and access account services at the Natatorium.

Interim Site Schedule

• Monday: 5 – 7:30 p.m.
• Tuesday – Friday: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Saturday: 11 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Sunday: Closed

The HVAC project at Bazan Branch Library is expected to take approximately four to five months.
