Animal Care Services Urgently Needs Pet Pantry Donations

SAN ANTONIO (September 18, 2026) – San Antonio Animal Care Services (SAACS) is in urgent need of pet food to help San Antonio residents struggling to feed their companion animals. The SAACS Pet Pantry provides food and supplies to qualifying families facing hardship, helping keep pets at home with the people who love them. 

Donations of dry dog and cat food and litter are our most immediate need, but other supplies are welcome. Every donation helps a San Antonio pet guardian care for their pet and can prevent an animal from entering the shelter simply because their family needs a little help. 

Pet food and other needed supplies are listed on the SAACS Pet Pantry Amazon wish list at SAACS.info/petpantry. Donations can be dropped off anytime, seven days a week, during regular business hours. SAACS is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
