District 2 Hosts Annual Back-to-School Events

SAN ANTONIO (July 25, 2024) – District 2 Councilmember Jalen McKee-Rodriguez, in partnership with PreK4SA and the DoSeum, invites District 2 families to the following back-to-school events. 

Friday, August 2, 2024 from 4-7 p.m.
PreK4SA East Education Center, 5230 Eisenhauer Road, 78218

Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

These events aim to provide essential resources and services to help students prepare for a successful academic year. There will be backpack giveaways, free haircuts, food, and immunizations provided by the City of San Antonio’s Metro Health Department. Additionally, the SAT Aviation Explorers team will be present to introduce middle and high school students to the aviation industry through their mobile flight simulator.

"We are committed to supporting our students and families as they kick off the new school year," said the Councilmember. "This event is a valuable opportunity to access resources and connect with our community."
